Dilmaris grew up in Cuba, where her sister was the one who first put scissors in her hand. That early instinct for hair never left. She came to the US and built her career from the ground up — eight years in the industry, the last several of them at ROP's Village location. She's the kind of stylist who takes her work personally, because to her, it is.

When she's not at the salon, Dilmaris is with her parents — family is where she recharges. She also loves to dance and walk along the beach, which she says clears her head better than anything.

Before a guest arrives, Dilmaris makes sure she knows exactly what services they're booked for and when. Everything she'll need is ready before they walk through the door. Once they're in the chair, she gives them a warm welcome, asks how they're doing, and then asks what they'd like to do with their hair — listening first, talking second.
